I recently took my three-year-old to kids first pediatric dentistry, I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and made my child feel at ease. They offered general anesthesia for his procedure, which really helped alleviate any anxiety sense he did need some pretty intensive work and a lot of pediatric offices we’ve been to in the past did not offer this. What impressed me the most was that they took the time to call us afterward to check on how he was doing. It showed that they genuinely care about their young patients and their families. Overall, I highly recommend this dentist office for anyone looking for a friendly and professional environment for their little ones!

My child had a great experience. He needed work done but didn’t want to sit through it and they offered other options and he just did his procedure yesterday without any complications. They were very helpful and nice and informative. They even covered the cost of the anesthesia for his procedure to be done and his teeth look amazing. Thank you Kids first. The staff is very good with kids. I like the dentists a lot. However, we have been coming here for years. Time and time again scheduling and communication is a problem with this office. They change appointment times and lack proper communication. Then they don't inform patients when the doctor is out, making it so you have to come back again when the appointment could have been rescheduled with proper communication. This is frustrating and makes me want to stop bringing my kids here despite the good dentists and hygienists.

Chelsea was wonderful with my son, however I was surprised that they are not in in network provider with blue cross blue shield. This dentist is very good, however, make sure you ask if they are in network with your insurance because they slapped me with a bill at the end when I asked them throughout the entire visit if everything was covered. They should have clarified.

This place is absolutely fantastic!! My daughter and I just left from her appointment. Because she is autistic, in order to clean her teeth, remove the plaque and take x-rays they put her to sleep. They even covered a part of the procedure that her insurance did not cover. They talked me through the whole procedure before and after. The anesthesiologist Paul was amazing answered all of questions and explained everything very thoroughly. The whole team is just amazing, they kept me updated , I enjoyed the conversations I had with some of them while waiting for my daughter to wake. They really know how to make you feel comfortable while caring for child. Bringing my daughter here was the best decision I could of made. I just want to thank everyone so much for putting my mind at ease when it came to my daughter oral care. Also the wait time and procedure was not long at all. Again thank you all so much, I can't remember every one name but I promise you the whole team is awesome!!!

Love this dentist office! My daughter just had to go for major dental surgery. So thankful they offer a sponsorship program and my daughter was able to get a spot as it helped pay for her dental work. I just had surgery myself so money was tight so it was such a big help. On top of that my daughter was so nervous and scared from a previous dental visit for a totally different office that made her not want to come back to a dentist ever. But they made her feel so comfortable and as her mom they made me feel good as well. So happy we found them and trusted them for this. We found our forever dentist and she is now not scared to go back. Thank you so much for all your help and support 💜

This was my baby's first time at the dentist after he complained about pain in his tooth. They were able to see him quickly, early (7:30am), and precise with the diagnosis. Returning a couple weeks later for surgery, they were calm, caring, and had alternatives for payments outside of Insurance. They were delicate with his case and brought in additional professionals to assist. It was a 10!10 experience. For A mom, whose cautious and protective, they made the experience comfortable, reassuring, and enjoyable! Thank you!

We loved it here! Casie made it especially comfortable while being educational! My 5 year old son is very busy and her room was sensory friendly which we really appreciated. He cooperated better than I could've imagined with her unique, and personal tailored touches. My young baby was also comforted by the environment and it made our experience very easy and happy. I brought my son here after failed attempts at other places to make him feel at ease. They took the time to learn my son and that he is at ease if he knows what's happening and they explained it to him and what they were gonna use and he loved it. He ended up needing work done that required being knocked out, the anesthesia team was amazing, the office is even a part of a foundation that helps cover costs which was amazing as a single mom to get this help... I definitely recommend taking your kid(s) here..

Unfortunately I will be transferring my son to a new location due to distance and commute times. The staff is friendly and I loved how the children’s waiting area is always full of activities. My main concern is the recent decision to eliminate grace periods for appointments, which seems tough for a pediatric dental office. Flexibility in scheduling can make a significant difference for families. Wish the team all the best.

I couldn’t thank Dr. Grewal enough! Hopefully it’s the right spelling lol. She’s amazing and hands down the only dentist I’ll let touch my autistic son. She goes out of her way to get a child the care they need. She’s caring, passionate and patient with the kiddos, especially the special needs ones. My 3yr old daughter needed dental work and unfortunately the dental we had didnt cover anything.. i looked up reviews about kids first and decided to schedule an appt. The reviews are right they are great! Wonderful!! The whole staff from the receptionists, dentists, assistants, anesthesia team and billing members! Paying 100% out of pocket they were so good to us and so good to my baby and making sure her health in dental was back to 100%! The office is the nicest office i have seen for kids and the kids get toys and have activities for every time they come in! My daughter loves coming! Thanks kids first for all that your team did for our family!! It is appreciated more then you know! Seriously dont think twice this is where you should bring your children!

Do NOT take your kid to general dentist! We found that out the hard way. The dentist we originally went to didn't even take xrays because they didn't have the right equipment (but didn't tell me), so my son ended up with 8 cavities before we even knew he had 1. Dr grewal and the office helped us get him on track and keep him cavity free now! They really are awesome!

This was our First time there and it was amazing! My daughter got X-rays and a cleaning today. My daughter’s hygienist name was Chelsea I believe (she’s currently 34 weeks pregnant) and she was so amazing with my daughter! My daughter was so nervous and scared to go to the dentist (friends at school scared her). I would love to give more than 5 stars because they deserve a 10 star rating!! The Dentist was so sweet, kind and informative with my daughter and myself. They was high-fiving her for being so good and brave! I honestly thought my daughter was going to at least cry, but nope Chelsea was AMAZING, super sweet, kind, very attentive and explained everything to my daughter when she was doing it and what she was doing and using. They are great! Sometimes it takes a while to get an appointment but appointments always seem to open up sooner. They are very patient & understanding with children. The kids get to watch TV in the rooms and get a coin for the prize machine each visit. They also have punch cards for good visits for the kids. My kids love it here. When the kids are happy, the mom is happy!

Today was my daughters first visit and if I could give them a 10 stars I would. My daughter loved the office itself. They had so many things available to help keep your toddlers entertained while they wait. They were so kind and had so much patience with my daughter. I was referred to a different dentist, after visiting them and not liking the treatment plan they made for my 3yr old. I decided to contact kids first dentistry and get a 2nd opinion. They did another exam on my son, and found more issues with his teeth than we discussed at the first dentist office. The dentists here go above and beyond to make sure that your kids are comfortable and safe and get the proper care. They also make sure that parents are comfortable and stress free about the work they’re doing. I love this office and their staff. 10/10 recommend.

My 3 year old had obstructive sleep apnea and needed some dental work because of it. From the front desk staff, the assistant, and the doctor, they were all very professional and it was obvious they are experienced with children and trained well on how to interact with them. My 5yo daughter was so anxious for this appointment due to a previous visit elsewhere. By the end, she was chatting away and smiling. She even later told me she liked it there and would like to go back. The assistant was very calming and caring. Dr. Grewal was just as kind. She explained everything to my daughter and showed her what she was doing. She even hummed a song for her during her cleaning...it made my daughter feel at ease. Very impressed. I absolutely love this place. It took one great experience here for me to never go anywhere else. My daughter never dreads the dentist office anymore. They’re so patient, caring and a absolute charm to my daughter when she’s here. I can’t think of anything I don’t like. The staff is always up beat, giving tips and will explain every step to my baby before it’s done. The amount of comfort they give my daughter is unbelievable. They do not push you into treatment that you might not be comfortable with and they take the time to listen to your concerns. We love the staff here and were a little nervous about the change in dentists. However, she was wonderful! We had such a wonderful experience here! Our son had to have some work done with his teeth and he went under general anesthesia for the procedure. The anesthesia team and Dr. Grewal were amazing! They made us as comfortable as possible as you could be during a situation like this. Kim and all of the office staff were friendly and amazing during the entire process. Only advice for parents with more than one kid...they do the appts at the same time...not back to back which makes it hard to comfort the kids. After the first time I started doing individual appts. Outstanding care for kids!!!! Nitrous was given instead of needles for my son who needed extensive work done. All The staff go the extra mile and give many incentives for good behavior/good grades/no cavities etc. We left a family dentist to the “kids dentist” really took the stress off me as a parent. Love this office and Dr. Grewal! My 4 year old had to have 12 teeth worked on under anesthesia just yesterday. Needless to say we were very nervous and stressed. Kim did an excellent job job explaining the financial cost and options and was very compassionate and great with our son. The anesthesiologist they work with is so calming, and very gentle and kind. All the staff there are friendly, engage with the children and explain everything step by step. Last but not least Dr. Grewal has been amazing. He's checked on our son and answered questions on his own personal time to make sure he was doing ok, and to calm our nerves as anxious parents. Highly recommend!

My 8yo son has had SO much trouble with dentists in the last four years. We've been through three of them. He has a strong gag reflex, he talks a lot, and he's scared, so sometimes he cries. Our last dentist actually stopped in the middle of a filling, stuck a temporary material in the tooth, and said, "We can't work on him anymore. You'll have to get this filling finished somewhere else." In. The. Middle. Of. The. Filling. Just because he was crying and said it hurt. We both left feeling frustrated and hopeless. Then we found Kids First, and everything changed. This dentist is seriously AMAZING. He makes my son feel so comfortable and relaxed, which is difficult to do after all the bad experiences my son has had. I know it's hard to believe, but he makes being at the dentist FUN, and gets the work done FAST - he did a root canal on my son in 18 minutes - no lie. He also pulled two of his teeth with my son having no fear and no pain either during or after the visit. If you're looking for a pediatric dentist who is available (no 6 month waits here), affordable, and actually really good with kids, go see him!

I truly can't say enough about the friendliness of the entire staff. To say the least my daughter was terrified of the the dentist due to some bad experiences from other dentist. They went above and beyond making her comfortable and feel secure even getting her to laugh. From the friendliness the cartoons the calm they gave my daughter and tried to put me at ease(due to my own fears) they were wonderful. I could go on and on about how pleased we are with their service my daughters fears are cured and I can't thank them enough for that. Best dentist ever!!!!

Wow. This office is amazing. We were awaiting a surgery date for our 4 year old and we received a phone call from the office (Kim) stating that Dr Grewal had an opening and wanted to get us in right away. She will be having the surgery at Childrens Hospital and we couldn't be more grateful and pleased with the customer service and care we've received so far from Kids First Office. I’m so happy 🤗😊 We tried 3 different offices for my kid and Katrina make hem feel so comfortable it’s the first time my kid is not crying. Absolutely love this people and the doctor. Dr. Grewel has taken amazing care of all 3 of my children. I looked for a new dentist after relocating and I'm so glad we did. My children are comfortable with him and all the dental hygienists they've seen, even my son who has high functioning autism. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

This office is phenomenal!! We had bad experiences at a previous dentist and my daughter was petrified to go. Dr. Grewal and Katrina put her (and me) completely at ease! They told her everything they were doing, let her see/touch everything and she even got to watch as they fixed a filling from the previous dentist!! I cannot say enough good things about this office!! My daughter now LOVES going to the dentist and can't wait for her 6 month checkup!!

This dentist office is the absolute best!! After 2 years of different dentists trying to get the work done my daughter needed, it finally got done. We received their flyer in the mail which advertised in office sedation, so we gave it a go and we were not disappointed.

We had amazing first trip to Kids First Pediatric Dentist. The assistant was absolutely awesome!!! She eased my grandsons nerves and took the time to explain everything to him and he even loved the dentist too. Very pleasant experience from the start. I was giving up hope in getting my 18 month old in for what I was told was an abscesses tooth when other offices were offering me appointments 2 months out. When I called this office they were very kind and understanding and were able to get me in the next morning. The doctor had a great bedside manner answered all my questions and made me feel so much better about my daughters situation. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Grewal was an answer to my prayers . my 6yr old had a traumatic experience at his previous dentist and just to hear that he was going to a dentist for cleaning he would cry unconsolable and he was afraid of even to sit at the dentist chair. Dr. Grewal and Katrina were very patient with him and did not forced him to do anything that he was not confortable with, he even let him be a little dentist , he has started to heal my son's trauma and this was only our first visit. we loved it. Dr. Grewal is AMAZING with our children!!! I will NEVER take my babies to see different dentist! My daughter had to have teeth pulled to prepare for her Invisalign, and Dr. Grewal treated her with such respect it kept her dignity intact and he calmed her anxieties about having the teeth pulled. Anyway the day of she came home and fell asleep for literally 3 hours then was up with NO PAIN and playing with her baby brother like nothing even happened! She is due to go back in 2 weeks and she isn’t even scared or nervous! Dr. Grewal is the best pediatric dentist around!!!!

Today was our first visit to kids first dental in Lincoln Park. From the beginning to the end of the appointment everyone was amazing. The doctor is funny and very informative. The dentist took great care of my son. He was professional and caring. After the procedure was over, our car would not start and we were unable to reach anyone for a ride. Dr. Gerwal did not hesitate to call us an uber and pick up the tab when it was clear we may be stuck there a while. He cares about his little patients and did not wanted my son to be able to go homw and relax. My daughter will definitely be seeing him for her first dentist appt.
